Remote Access to Campus Computer Labs for Students

During remote teaching and learning due to COVID, students can remotely log in to computer labs from off campus and use the software on these computers as if they were there in person.  Available computer labs include specialty software computer labs and a subset of open lab/general use computers.

The link above will provide direct campus links and more detailed instructions for accessing if needed. In brief, you will first choose the campus, then the building, then the specific computer that you want to use. You will be prompted to log in with your MySeattleColleges long username (first.last@seattlecolleges.edu) and will choose yes, continue, or connect on the resulting prompts that come up. The login process can take from 30 seconds to a couple of minutes as we establish a secure and safe connection between your home computer and the lab computer. Once you are logged in, the speed will be the same as if you are in the computer lab.

Remote access to campus computer labs will be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Hours between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. are reserved for computer maintenance and updates.

When we are all able to go back on campus in person, this information will apply:
